I found myself in the park almost by accident, there was this intense and beautiful light projected.
The images are very rigorous, but they were done by hand. A bit like for the project on Borromini of San carlino at the Quattro Fontane I tried to follow a flow, to breathe architecture and those moments. Here there was a strong manifestation of emptiness, of space. I felt like light pierced the void, almost as if they were skeletons. At some point, something magical happens and you are ready to shoot. There is almost too much magic to handle all together. You are there alone occupying the void, it is truly a 1-to-1 experience. My photos have tried to convey the feeling of experiencing it firsthand. The intent was to transfigure a natural experience to the human eye.
House in Quelfes
Ricardo Bak Gordon.
The site is almost flat and is surrounded by a landscape typical of the south, with drought tolerant trees and various species of cactus, so the building appears to be very artificial.
