Being located in the middle of Tlalpuente, a forest zone in southern Mexico City, this project explores the placement of the house in relation with its environment.
Having an 360 view of the site and no neighbours, concept addressed the idea of an open plan over a basement that strands over the natural terrain. This idea was then traduced in the intersection of basic geometry and an structural intersection that defines the different spaces in the house.
This grid was explored in plan and also in section, where the main 3 voids have a particular purpose, complementing the interior space, views and terraces, having a direct dialogue with the natural scene that surrounds the house.
