Filippo Pisan, creative director of De Castelli, tells us about his experience with the LucidiPevere studio and how this bookshelf was born, whose shape is inspired by botanical elements.

Filippo, could you tell us about this project?
This bookcase was designed by the Lucidipevere studio and is inspired by the plant world. Slim perpendicular supports fall from the ceiling and are anchored to the wall in gentle curves. Like climbing lianas, they create a new hanging architecture. Each branch becomes the support for one or more shelves in a completely modular composition of clear botanical inspiration.

The gaze bounces between the dark colours of Ebano Gabon of the shelves and the shine of the supports in brass, copper or iron ennobled by the De Castelli finishes.
