Luca could you tell us something about this project?
Spin-off is a publication that was released in 2017 and is the result of collaboration with graphic designer Kaspar Hauser and writer Roberto Polligioni. It all began because in 2017, I picked up my archive and selected some photos taken from the projects I had finished. My idea was to search for a link among these shots to produce a new project, but from the beginning I realised that I wouldn’t be able to do it myself. The Kaspar Hauser studio took care of both the editing and the design. As for the editing, they started with six portraits and they used each as an opening for a story.

Each character was given keywords that corresponded to images. In turn, each of the stories all connected to each other through the addition of further images. The book received the Marco Bastianelli award and the Unveil’d Photobook Award.
