The site of the intervention is located in Alcácer do Sal, in the Alentejo region, which has always been strategic due to its geographical, environmental and landscape conditions. The Sado river, due to its historical navigability, has always been one of the main engines and growth of this area. The extensive salt production areas also represent a strong economic increase in the region, coupled with the fertility of the land and where agriculture is still the dominant activity in the region.
The Stilo das Lezirias gives its name to a vast ancient agricultural area, where two pre-existing structures are still to be recovered: the manor house, from the 16th century. XIX and the stables.
