How do you relate to Peter Zumthor’s architecture?

Ever since I first began studying architecture, I have always been a great admirer of this author.
Is it true that this architecture gives off a particular aura or energy?

Yes, absolutely. It is good for the soul!

It is exceptional architecture from multiple points of view, capable of creating a very strong sense of empathy with the observer. I would recommend everyone to go and immerse themselves in his architecture in person.

Does the Zumthor studio place any impositions on the shooting?

Absolutely not. For many reasons I would call it a perfect relationship.

What can you tell me about the famous halo of mystery created around Peter Zumthor?

I would say that everything can always be romanticised. In reality, each person decides how much they want to become involved with or rather “overwhelmed” by the media. So, I fully respect his choice to make a very careful selection regarding the propagators of his work and thoughts.

However, I would not want to be misunderstood. I do not think that Zumthor’s is the only way to present yourself correctly to the public.

Basically, I respect people who demonstrate consistency between what they say and what they do. Each way can lead down a very different path.
