Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper. In the base of the Origami table by Natisa the material changes but the aesthetic effect remains the same. The structure is light and solid at the same time: the wood, like a sheet of paper, “bends” to give life to a new shape.
In fact, the base is made up of several pieces of wood, yet it seems a unique element: a visual continuum possible thanks to Natisa’s skill in working and fitting together the different parts that make up the structure. The final result is definitely impressive: the table alone decorates the living area with great personality, becoming the protagonist of the environment.
The Origami top, depending on the size, can be chosen in veneered, solid oak, ceramic or in the elegant version in bevelled smoked glass, which gives a glimpse of the play of balances and joints of the forms that support it.
Now it is also available in the extendable version which reaches, once opened, almost 3 meters in length and in the version with a square top that measures 147 x 147 cm (the top can be chosen in different variants of grès or smoked glass).
