The OCO armchair is, in a very obvious way, the ultimate representation of my basic purpose of using simple and obvious forms in my designs. What is seen is what is: two lateral feet and a shell that embraces the backrest and the seat, which are of elementary geometric shapes. The goal is to make the simple, the essential, and the beautiful.
Its steel structure makes this piece look light and robust at the same time, allowing almost all its volume to be filled with upholstery, which gives us a feeling of deep comfort, just as it is. In fact, the name OCO (hollow) is a reference to this experience of being filled by the one who has the opportunity to sit in it.”
