In this moment the entire world seems small, calm and present. Chaos of hustle and bustle sweeps away and a feeling of being in the moment takes over. The nature seems luxuriant and full of life, and at the same time it feels like everything has just stopped. These emotions are captured in NEBL: an intuitive and innovative planter that salutes unity and simplicity. The pure and minimalistic design represents the sense of peacefulness and calmness that strikes, when everything is wrapped in rich, grey quietness. As a fragment of a moment NEBL captures the feeling of ease and reflects it out to the entire room. Nebel is the German word for ‘fog’ and the main source of inspiration for Berlin based designer Michael Rem.
NEBL consists of two parts: A base in which the plant is placed, and a frosted glass that is placed on the base. The matte finish of the glass adds an exclusiveness and tactility to NEBL, that makes it hard not to get intrigued. The glass has two openings with different sizes, which makes it possible to place the glass either high or low on the base. This subtle detail allows you to change the look of NEBL according to sense of taste or mood. The planter comes in two sizes: Large and Mega. Large is the obvious choice for the windowsill or the dresser, where Mega is intended as a floor planter.[/vc_column_text][lab_divider title=”RECENT IN DESIGN”][lab_portfolio_items category_filter=”no” columns=”4″ pagination_type=”hide” portfolio_query=”size:12|order_by:date|post_type:,portfolio|tax_query:1192″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
