Melt Chair is a minimalist chair designed by Brooklyn-based studio Bower for The Future Perfect’sThe Chair exhibit. The Melt Chair is made of Imperial Green marble and antique brass. Inspired by ancient Egyptian furniture, Bower wanted to create a chair that infused some of the culture’s magical qualities by exploiting the contrast between true properties of material versus perceived properties shaped by form.
