A project that lives on the balance between opposing forces. The lighting body should fall because it is attracted by the force of gravity, but the reflective body keeps it suspended in the void thanks to a magnetic field generated by him.

Vittorio, could you tells us about this project made for the Design Pinetum 02 Innesti (Grafts) exhibition?

This is one of the projects we love most and was made for Luce5 of Montevarchi. We really like Takis, a Greek artist who often works with magnetic fields. We also knew that LED technology could be in close contact with magnets. These were the starting premise. The result is two bodies that attract each other, but they cannot join because they are attached to cables, too short to allow them to touch, but long enough for the magnetic pull to combat the force of gravity that would break this balance. In this project the concept of limit is evident.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”16961,16962,16963,16964,16965″ img_size=”100×100″ onclick=”kalium_lightbox”][vc_column_text]
