The Iron coffee table is precisely an expression of the uncomplicated when it comes to visual forms, through the junction of robust elements and basic geometries. The great purpose of this piece is to make us curious about the top of the table, which balances almost magically on its base, and also to unite elements that are apparently not harmonious among themselves, but that communicate perfectly when carefully and intelligently arranged together.
The central sphere is an important and essential part of this project, because, besides contributing structurally, it is the object of balance of the piece. The iron structure supports this balance and determines the structural firmness of the laminated wood top worked in marquetry.
Besides this, the rounded forms, a remarkable characteristic in my designs, offer a harmonic, functional, and safe visual lightness.
