The project is about the transformation of a small building on two floors originally barn in a weekend house.
Made with stones, wood and bricks, the building is located in a natural area, called bog on the shores of Lake Maggiore.
The challenge of the project was not to loose the original perception of the spaces while changing program.
A new internal volume changing shape across floors has been conceived as a big furniture able to fulfill all the services required for residential use: kitchen and storage on ground floor, bathroom and closet on the first and extra bed in the loft.

In the elevation, the characteristic brick patterns covering all the openings have been interrupted by a large bow window, which frames the view of the green context and lake.
