Magis[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Giulio Iacchetti tells us how the project for EUR modular bookcase designed for Magis was born. It is inspired by the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana designed by Giovanni Guerrini, Ernesto Lapadula and Mario Romano and built in the EUR district of Rome during the fascist period.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_single_image image=”14700″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1560004038866{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1560006029738{margin-top: 0px !important;border-top-width: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}”]

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Can you tell us about the EUR bookcase project for Magis?

Eugenio Perazza, the founder of Magis, had come to me to talk about a project whose name I don’t even remember. While we were talking he saw a walnut wood bookcase, which today is part of Internoitaliano, and stopping listening to me he said: “Well let’s do that one!”

Here is the fun start of this project. Then this has been developed and became a children’s bookshop, also suitable for public facilities. It is made of blown polypropylene. This solution allowed us to have lightweight modules with very simple joints to be mounted even by children, as if it were a game.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”14696″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1560004059278{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1560006038695{margin-top: 0px !important;border-top-width: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}”]

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The anecdote you told about Eugenio Perazza coming to you to see a project, then by chance he sees another one and together you are on a completely different path, it seems to me fun, but also interesting.

There are many examples of these in life. It’s a bit like when a model tells that she went to accompany a friend to a shooting and then they took her. This project has had a similar history. As soon as Eugenio Perazza saw this old library he understood that it had to be his. Even the entrepreneur often acts instinctively and everything moves on the wave of desire. We must be good at understanding what we want and managing it, because desire is a wonderful and powerful driving force.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In these cases, does luck also count?

I don’t believe in luck. But the case must be helped.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”14700,14702,14701,14699,14698,14697,14696,14704,14703″ img_size=”100×100″ onclick=”kalium_lightbox”][vc_video link=”″][vc_column_text]
