Elisa Ossino for Salvatori

Why did you decide to work with Elisa Ossino?

When we did the photo shoots, Elisa took care of the setting up and some of the objects that were included in the set were directly designed by her. Looking at them I found them beautiful, so one day I asked her if she wanted to try to draw some objects for Salvatori. From there our collaboration started and within a few years we had developed various products. I remember that once in Lebanon I saw some very interesting things made from pewter and when I returned from my trip, I suggested to Elisa that she draw some taps with this material.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”18614″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1570450554516{margin-bottom: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1570450667993{margin-top: 0px !important;border-top-width: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}”]

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]With Fantini we then developed the prototype to take to the Salone del Mobile in Milan where it achieved great success and to this day remains one of Fantini’s flagship products. Last year I asked Elisa to develop a soft bath line. Among the various accessories in the collection we had chosen to use pleated linen curtains, this fabric became the starting point for designing the texture of marble slabs.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”18541,18543,18545,18548,18550,18551,18558,18560,18559,18547,18609″ img_size=”100×100″ onclick=”kalium_lightbox”][vc_column_text]
