CRS is a new construction that was born in a hilly area near Catania. The building emerges decisively from the garden and from the rear lava counter, does not share any tract with the adjacent buildings, the volumes, the materials used and the facades are simple and full. Natural light enters through the large fixtures that can be shielded thanks to movable partitions and reaches the lower floor in a diffuse way. The total area of the house is 400 square meters on two levels. The living area, totally above ground, takes full advantage of the opening towards the landscape, channeling the view with the help of the internal partitions. The pool is an architectural complement that creates visual continuity with the sea and is embedded in the monolithic lava stone base. The structure is of mixed type, reinforced concrete partitions in the basement and above ground steel. The fireplace is part of it.
