The Cask collection consist of an armchair, a sofa and a seating island. We have collaborated with Expormim to scrutinize the various ways that natural rattan can be used to strike a balance between creative ideas and technical realization, creating a look that reflects the familiarity of past wicker design, but with a modern and streamlined allure. Versatile, comfortable and elegant, the furniture has everything one would expect of a classic.
The basic structure of the sophisticated lounge furniture is created from nothing more than two rounded pieces of rattan connected with vertical sticks and combined with a comfortable upholstery for a cozy and relaxed design exuding a timeless simplicity.

“Cask is a modern spin on a historic craft that combines the refinement of rattan with the softness of the upholstery coming together in a collection of unique pieces of furniture”
— Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen

“To create a simple and minimal design may seem easy, but in reality it is very demanding. Every little detail catches the eye and needs to be well thought out – there is nothing more complicated than taking objects back to the basics”
— Nicolaj Friis Nøddesbo

The combination of natural rattan and the generous upholstery creates a cozy, relaxed atmosphere with a certain presence, yet without asking to be the center of attention.
