This is a renovation of an apartment in the center of Florence. The project followed a very specific direction: to free the building from all the interventions that over the years had transformed it into a real cage, or in a sequence of small rooms – even including mezzanines and raised corridors – and at the same time reorganize its distribution system radically rethinking the way of life inside.
In fact, the layout of the apartment is quite particular at the start, as it actually develops “embracing” the stairwell of the condominium and leaving a narrow corridor to connect its two main areas.
