The construction of this elegant and clean-lined daybed is simple yet refined: nine planks lay supported by four boards that slot into one another, forming the base of the bed. The rounded edges of the solid ash wood elements lend what the designer calls a “soft touch” to the overall design. The mattress is luxuriously upholstered in a 100% wool fabric by Danish textile designers, Kvadrat. The single mattress is attached to the frame by small textile loops. Johannes Fuchs calls ‘Barril’ “the perfect place for a quick midday nap or an overnight guest.”[/vc_column_text][lab_divider title=”RECENT IN DESIGN” text_color=”#898989″ text_color_font=”#000000″][lab_portfolio_items category_filter=”no” columns=”4″ pagination_type=”hide” portfolio_query=”size:12|order_by:date|post_type:,portfolio|tax_query:27″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
